KosIBC started because of a growing foreign interest in business opportunities in Kosovo. The new state, in the heart of the Balkans, has an interesting combination of low costs and an international attitude.
The Republic of Kosovo is new, and therefore the possibilities are not fully utilized. KosIBC is here to help foreign businesses exploring this new European country that uses the euro as their currency.
With over ten years of experience exploring the country, KosIBC has an interesting network of businesses, governmental organizations, NGO’s, embassies, and business incubators. As a foreigner, it can be challenging to find your way into an unknown country. KosIBC is here to help you connect.
The founder of KosIBC is Stefan van Dijk, a Dutchman living and working in Kosovo. Van Dijk is connected with the country for over twelve years. He graduated in television journalism, and started Dutch, English, and Spanish information websites about Kosovo. Van Dijk gave several times radio interviews about Kosovo for Radio 1, Radio 2 and Radio 3 in The Netherlands.
He cooperates with several organizations in Kosovo that are active in developing the country or in promoting the Balkans state to foreigners.
